Waakaye leaves/1.5oz

Waakye millet leaves are used for a West African dish call Waakye, shinkafa da wake which means “rice and beans”. Waakye Millet leaves have the same name as the dish. The millet gives the rice its reddish color.

It is used in the treatment of anemia since it contains vitamin B to help with the nervous system's proper functioning. Sorghum bicolor leaves also contain calcium for strong bones and teeth. The leaves contain antioxidants that prevent cell damage and diseases like cancer, diabetes, etc.
